1949 silver roosevelt

Was able to get out late tonight for about 1/2 hr and hunted a yard that I have hunted several times and was able to pull a 1949 silver roosevelt dime. I got a nice faint reading and dug about 7 inches down and went back over the hole and she was silent. Pulled the coil over the loose dirt and she chirped.....I searched through the black moist soil with my fingers and there she was glimmering at me. I thought for sure it was going to be a merc, but to my surprise it was a 1949 silver roosevelt dime. Praise God! I love that silver. I can't wait to get back out there. Happy Hunting everyone! Man I wish I had the capability to send some photos. Still working on it. Hopefully will get up and going soon.

I love seeing the glint of silver in the dirt! :)

Nice job on popping it out. Sure is a rush to see it shining in the dirt. I don't care how old...or new...silver is silver and the feeling of seeing it come out of the ground still thrills me each time. Nice going.

Congrats on finding the Rosie! Silver is nice and always a pleasure to dig it out of the ground! Hope you find many more and Happy Hunting!

God Bless!
