I hope ya had your "rattler" headphones on!! I didn't see the video but that garter snake looks mean!! 
There's a place I hunt in the spring while the weeds are down that is covered with garter snakes, it's kinda neat. It's those dang copperheads I don't like when I'm visiting family down home in KY....
