Finds are from this weekend with a detecting buddy.
Ring is a 1937 premium brass cereal ring. Melvin Purvis was known for being the lead investigator on the John Dillinger Case.
It rang up at 12-41 @ 6 inches.
The Andrew Johnson presidential coin is brass and is fairly old.
Pennies are back to 1893 and dimes are back to 1907. Half is 1942.

wow, that's a pretty cool ring. I always like finding stuff like that.

You sure are doing good at finding the big silver this year and congrat's on the big and little silver coins.

Hey, I don't see any Buff's or V's. Your slipping a lil,,,,, just kidding, lol

Hey Mark, Ya me and the guy that went with were trying hard to pull a buffalo or V but just couldn't come across one.
My oldest nickel was 1940 and I did get that '46 Canadian nickel which is kind of a neat coin. Bet we dug a hundred beaver tails trying for an old nickel.

better slow down some and let that etrac cool off................

Man ! Do you ever have the spots to hunt !!!! NICE
Best I can tell FPD hunts mostly public ground? Me thinks he has more skills than locations...?

Yep, I agree. He has the skills the rest of us wish we had...without putting in the effort he has.

Good job Dave and please keep posting your successes...Kinda keeps the fire lit.

I'm envious of your ring find! Congratulations on all the finds and thanks for the pictures.
