1936 buffalo with bliss

I haven't got to use the bliss much because of the snow. Today after work I did manual ground balance and it would hit my 12" silver dime target solid. After digging a few nails I found the buffalo. It was 5-6 inches deep. I have been having some trouble with EMI. Not sure what I can do about it but turn down gain and threshold.

congrats on that 36 nickle ,

Hysterocrates.
I have the same problem with my Bliss and I found out the only way to make it work smoth is by lowering the Gain betweing 0 and 1 nad treshold to lower tone and silencer litle high.
don be afraid about loosing any depth because I been hitting coins at depths that the E-trac can't detect so I'm doing okay.
just concentrate on balancing correctly and you are good to go.

Nice photos, great find.

Elkie, my gain is set about the same as yours; seems to work pretty well for me, and I still dig pretty deep. The depth will be determined more by the DD and DL it seems than with the gain. At least, so far that seems true.

Congratulations on the '36 nickle too Hysterocrates! Looks to be in pretty good shape from the photos.
