This is the final year that the U.S. mint made silver dollars for general circulation and because of that, this particular date is a little rarer than most. I wouldn't call it a "key date" but a date that is certainly a little harder to come by as there were only 1.9 million made that year. As you can see, the photos show an accurate representation of the wear on the coin, I'd say probably "fine" in condition. (That can be debated of course). With silver melt values hovering around $40.00 per ounce, I'd say this coin is worth at least the $50.00 price that I am asking for it as it does have some Numismatic value over melt value.
