some years ago i was girding the farm field by my house , and this was the 1st silver coin i found in it . after finding tens of lead bullets and hundreds of Iron relics and shot shell s It had passed many a hand in transaction, and was well worn by the time it was lost the faint numbers 1926 just visible and it again passed into my hand after many years - for in those days and at that time the money was made of silver & gold , prohibition was in force the farmer still used a horse to plow and the cell phone was yet unknown, along with the TV as yet when no detector was on the earth finding metal ,

That was a great day bro! Thanks for sharing. Maybe you will get another Sov GT?:poke:

Nice find, the Sovereign with the 15'' WOT coil on it is still one of the most sort after beach detecting machine over here in the UK,very hard to find a decent Sovereign these days as they have stopped production.

Nice going on the silver coin. That's a really big field for that coin to hide in. :detecting:

I got lazy and was just walking down the rows not even swinging it , and the coin was right on top . but several weeks later about 300 ft away i found a 1905 barber 10" deep and i gouged it with my digger , i was expecting another lead slug still guys the deepest best detector i have used on the farm fields is the Blisstool but the GT found me a lot of gear .

Nice soundtrack...That field looks completely innocent...Nobody would have EVER found those coins...boggles the mind to think about it...Good job Gunnar!:clapping:
