1923 Steam Train Stop - X-Terra 305 Finds

Out of Order

New member
Hello Again All,

Well, last night i decided check out an old steam train stop that ran trains between 1923-1932.. As i suspected, not alot was found, being that it'll most likely be a hot-spot for detectorists. But i was able to walk away with a couple of interesting finds.. first being a vintage die-cast car of some-sort (I'm not good with cars, have no idea what model it is), as you can see in the photo it has marking underneath - left side reads WINNA (note: half of letter A runs under the car seat, thought that was odd), and the right side reads F.H.E, its only got 1 and a half wheel remaining on it and the original paint work was red. The dash board has a tiny hole in it, i assume for a steering wheel at some point. I'd love to know alittle more about the car, might be a job for the car enthusiast.

The other odd item is a 'brass' cone with a hole in the tip, no idea what it is.

All others are modern coins, and a modern key.

thanks

Congrats on the hunt
I have found many of the brass cones...and thats what they call them to smoke their pot
They put their weed into the cone and it inserts into the pipe.
I recycle all my unwanted iron ,copper, lead & brass by selling it as scrap metal.

Great hunt. I always loved sport cars..
Also it fantastic to see other Xterra 305 users.

Happy Hunting

Looks like a kinda like a Boattailed Speedster (Auburn). May be an Aussie or European model of some sort. A quick search showed that WINNA may be an Austrailian toy mfg.
