1917 Walking Liberty Half Dollar

Jcooking invited me to hunt with him at a house of a buddy of his. Found my first half dollar of the season which was very exciting. The hardest part was not doing the happy dance and going to show Jcooking right away since it was private property and right along a very busy street with lots of traffic. The house looked so perfect when we showed up because it was so old and there was a lot of square footage to be hunted. Private property is awesome :clapping: Good luck out there everyone and cheers! :beers:

Great find ! Dream day conditions.

Nice find and an old one to boot.

Its hard to tell the date but it looks as though it could be 1917?
I have yet to see one that's not worn down to the bone. Someone on
Garretts just found one with his Ace 250. Its in a little better shape but the date on it is
worn tin as well.

Nice find.

Very nice find Matt. I hope you were able to do the Happy Dance later. BIG congrats to you. Did you happen to find any other old coins or relics? I love big old properties to play in. Thank you for sharing and HH, Nancy
