1914 D Penny after work tonite!

floodplaindetector

Well-known member
I went Into town to a school after work tonite and pulled a 1914 D wheat penny. Kind of crudded up
but I don't care! Also got a 1939 quarter.
Other attached finds are from a couple parks on Sunday.

Awesome! Congratulations on the key date wheat and the silver! Thanks for the pictures.

Thanks for the congrats Mark & Nebtrac.
Only took me 12 years to get a key date penny
I must have gotten a couple dozen 1914 plain and 1914 s pennies and
too many 1916 s mercs to count.

Been looking for a 1914D myself since the beginning of detector time!
Keep it Coming!!

Excellent !

wow that place hasn't been pounded too hard, great finds!
thanks! the guy who went with me (has been running an etrac for 1 1/2 years) would disagree with you as he kept telling me
there was nothing there. He got 2 wheat pennies for the day.

You won the detector find lottery digging up that key date penny. Crudded up or not its still a key date. Good job.

I've detected so called 'hunted out' sites which i myself pounded into oblivion then declared them finally 'hunted out'.... only to return again and find more oldies.
I call it 'phase of the moon' finds!
