Today I found a weird one.
1914 Barber quarter only it isn't flat, it has the head side pushed out like 3/8" and has 4 round eyelets -2 on bottom, 2 on top...
Well it is in perfect shape for what it is... any1 ever seen this?

Ahh just got back from coin shop. its called a punchout. They still do it today to modern coins so he said it was an antique punch out and offered ne $10.
We kept it tho.

it's not holed, coin shop said its a novelty item like a rolled penny. Which means it was done a long time ago.
Nobodys gonna press a 1914 Barber.
I'll keep it.
Foun 1 similar on ebay search under embossed 1914 barber quarter. Mine is better tho.

no picture yet, I am thinking I will Take 1 and send it in to Garretts find of the month maybe I get lucky.. there is an example on ebay search 1914 embossed barber quarter

[size=large]now that takes patience to do. and based on your discription your piece came from a bracelett like 1/4 horse showd. that means there may be more where you found the one.
