1912 2 1/2 Dollars Gold

Rub my bald head for luck. Found my second gold coin in less than thirty days. This one was found while searching a falling down ranch house in Northern Ca. I had already found a 1856 "S" seated quarter, 1872 "S" seated half dime, a few tokens and wheaties. I was working the ancient drive way that was dirt but hard as rock. I got a real strong foil signal on my MXT. I had to use a rock pick to penetrate the ground. I had made a couple of stokes with the hammer and a dime size yellow coin come flipping up out of the hole. I was stunned. I picked it up and saw the Indian headdress and date then just stood there in awe. I was alone so I can't wait to see how many cell minutes I burned calling every one I know. There were no mint marks on these coins in 1912. Thanks, Dan.

Even in worn condition they are still a wonderful find, and two in such a short period .... why, you're definitely on a roll! :)
