Hello everyone!! My hunting pal and I got permission to search a 1905 house. It was a quick hunt because of the heat but pulled out a 1909 wheatie and a 1924 D wheatie!! The 09 is in better shape by the 24 is obviously worth more.

Sorry about the pictures. The "D" is tough to see anyway.

We can go back but the owners have lots of small children that were "helping" a bit too much! Lol. We can go back but might wait ubtil school starts again!!

We hunted for about an hour. I found the two better wheaties an my pal found a lost angels police badge and a harmonica reed. Did not have high hopes but struck out at the other location. Good times!! I think the 24 D is my most valuable coin to date.

Does that 1909 have the VDB on the back? Not worth much if it doesnt. I have one but no VDB. ( did i spell that right?) VBD..?

Congrats on some nice wheaties! Definitely need to check that yard out some more.

No vdb on it. But it still shows a decent $$ in the red book.

So we went back yesterday and pulled out a few more wheats and a beautiful 1900 ih. My buddy found a neat cyrus mccormick token from 1931.
