1907 IH w/ the V

Took the V out today to another scraped lot that I've pounded to death. First dig was the IH. Came in at nickel range around 4" on disc. dial and was broken. Everything in this lot that repeats gets dug. The Jeff is a 1940. Nothing special about the little round rivet back, but it was laying with two nails and sounded good, so I'm happy with it. I like the V so far. I've only used it at scraped lots I've pounded so I can get used to it before hitting manicured lawns. Am finding that thumbing the dial is as good as multi tone. Eric

great finds, you will learn the expression of the detector also, meaning crackly, pops. the duration of the response, and the smoothness also. i have the cortes and the tejon,, just bought the wife the vaquero, got playing with it, i told her that she could borrow it sometimes, she laughed as she took it back.
