Hi folks,

Just got back from Bermuda where I spent my 3rd anniversary with my wife. I had a chance to finally do some detecting (been a busy year so far). I also did my first beach and water hunting with my SE as well as some land hunting. Found some interesting coins and relics.

Here's one of two silver shillings I found. This was a surprise as it was my first target in a particular area. It's the size of a quarter and was about 4" or so deep.

I'll be posting some more items in the next few days.

Best, Erik

From another in-land location in Bermuda. This one shows a lot of nice detail, but there are a few hairline scratches. It was my last coin target.

Regards, Erik

I found this one in the dry sand on a beach. I was heavily encrusted and has been cleaned up a little. It hit as a coin and looks like an old Spanish reale, but it has some gilding on it. It doesn't look like junk as it appears to be old, but who knows......any ideas on this one???

Erik, Silver is silver as for the resale or what ever it is it dont look fake to me from pic if it is a copy it should say copy on it.Nice finds and good luck on your next hunt.
crowduck
