1906 d Dime (A good day)

Hello friends, I just love when it rains around here. It seems to allow the Gt to pick up targets a little better, just a little deeper then when the ground is dry. I pulled this 1906d dime out of a spot I know I've been over twenty times before. The barber dime was at about 5" . The merc and three ringer came from a second spot the same day of hunting. Over all it was a nice day of hunting and I wanted to share with my forum family. Yes, I think I kissed the barber on the back side but she's still a keeper. Just don't see these guys that often so I was very happy to pull her up. Thanks for looking , keep on swinging and HH.

Great job. Still waiting for my first silver of the year but haven't got out as much as I would like yet.

Your a hard hitter so I'm sure you will pull one up soon. That you can bet on.

Good finds 2 silver and a 3 ringer makes a good hunt , the GT love wet soil and sand  Jim

Yes the Gt do love a wet ground. With the hot weather we have been having lately here in the south the ground dries out quickly. The ground get just about as hard as a brick. I'm starting to find I only want to hunt after a long rain has saturated the ground.

Awsome Dime! My oldest find is a 1911 Wheat so I'm hitting it hard to find older coins and the GT is the machine to do it. HH. Matt

Tom,nice finds! Any silver for me is a good hunt.Barbs don't come up often in my area. The three ring bullet adds to the pot Thanks for sharing Ron

For sure the Gt will pull up the old ones just keep on swinging Matthias. You'll be passing 1911 in no time.

Very good day i would say, I stopped looking for silver it is so rare around hear , nice you found three good targets,

Glad to have you as a new Mod ,Congrats to you :)

Just try to find the oldest park in your area. Maybe a co-worker that does'nt mind letting you swing at their old home they just bought.Put the word out at your church what services you can provide by recovering lost items. You will see Gunnarmn the silver will come.

nice silver finds and a cool three ringer! Thanks for sharing - Jim

Nice spot you have and nice finds. Hope this is the just the beginning in a new area.

Great finds, I pulled a belt plate up earlier this year but still haven't found a 3 ringer. HH

Thanks Kevin, keep looking in that spot,a bullet can't be to far away. The closest I have come to a buckle is a buckle keeper or adjuster.
