1904 Half and more while out of town.

This is the Half I posted a week ago, still in the ground. Sure was exciting to see those stars shining through the dirt when I turned the plug over. The 1892 IH was a good 10" deep and has great patina. The race car was a foot deep and where another detectorist told me he found a 1964 dime. The pocket watch was a foot deep and where the footprint of an old house was. The sword pin is silver. The V nickel is 1910 and was right next to a sidewalk where I've found several other IHs and Vs. Two of the wheats were 1916Ds. I'll be back next week to hit this spot again while working out of town.

Excellent !

What's the cool design piece in the upper right hand corner? Great Spot!

Good question timwied. I assumed it was a furniture ornament of some sort, but I don't see how it was attached. I'd really like to know what the 2 threaded objects are at the upper left corner. The key-shaped object is crudely made.

Awesome finds! I'm jealous

Could the silver colored one be a guide for a harness reins? Looks kinda new for that tho?

timwied, the hole in that object is too small for a rein guide(1/2"). I think it is old because it was as deep as the other old relics. It's shiny because it is either silver plated or painted silver.

Really nice finds. Some fantastic relics and coins. I haven't found a V nickel yet.
