Finds are from Saturday and Sunday. All finds were made at public parks.
There is no snow in my area yet but it was brutal out Sunday morning being about 28 degrees with 25 mph winds. The ground was a little stiff on top but wasn't a problem.
Pennies are back to 1895. Oldest Merc is 1916 plain mint.
The MN state fair medal wasn't very deep (about 4 inches) and laying completely flat.
The John Deere scarf pin is 1890-1920. It gave me faint Indian head numbers (12-34 / 12/35) and was about 8 inches deep.
These 13 silver make it 302 silver for the year.
If anybody knows what the item with the bird on it is please let me know. That was deep also and read similar to an Indian head Penny.
