1903 Half Barber

You have had 73 viewers. NON comented. Probably because you never told a story behind it? Did you buy it, find it, have it given to you? Looks like a water find but there must be some reason you posted it.
 
I found it in dry sand were a bulldozer had scraped. Down three feet exposing some older material ...The old timers around here says its from when they rebuilt the haunted house at the boardwalk here...they dug down to bed rock and dumped it all on beach...this was about two years ago...looks like it was missed by all the hunters then...was mixed in with large chunks of rusted iron....almost walked over it...!
I live in Santa Cruz California...check the news..we just had a major river blow out that threatened the boardwalk....

This coin came from..."Under the Boardwalk"

Here it is all cleaned up...great condition...dose not appear to have been in water...!
