buddy told me to give his yard a try...house was built in 1908...looked a little while (less than 30 min.)and dug two wheaties and a 1902 barber dime...yes, I will be going back when I have more time

Great site for a lot of silver my home was built 123 years ago in 10 years i have found countless silvers and coppers and i still can pick a few out with the GT . Hit that place again . Jim

Oh me...I'm really getting a jones seeing all the nice digs. Its been so dry that digging is just not possible in the usual locations.
I may have to drive to the big lake and see what I can do there until we get a couple days of rain.
Nice find...keep up the posts.

Great find. If he doesn't mind you digging a bunch then go back and dig everything above iron, or at least everything above iron that doesn't sound sick or change by more than 2 digits when you change your sweep angle on it. My criteria when ring or relic hunting is two digits or less and not sick sounding, but if the spot has potential and not much junk then I'll even dig stuff that changes by 3 digits or maybe more. It's just that usually that 3 digit or more stuff depending on the angle always turns out to be trash for me, especially odd shaped trash. I've had good luck with rings in yards so I'd say dig all above iron, at least the more solid hit/good sounding stuff.

thanks Critter.... appreciate the info...I`ll give it a go and see what I come up with....now if I do hit some good stuff you aren`t going to want a share are ya...lol
