Nice finds. Do you filter out iron when you hunt relics? My question is related to all the iron which was blasted all over the fields during the wars. My area is full of bits of iron. I didn't do too much field relic hunting so far, just beaches. As to relics, I only found 1 very old nail, a U.S. soldier's dog tag, a few empty WWI cartridges, a watch, a marble, a golf ball, and Soldier's Chap Stick from the 50's, with wax still in it.

Don't ask me how the heck I found the marble... I would have rather found a treasure chest...

Yes, I use a filter. Lots of iron in the wood (ammunition, fragments...) , but sometimes I find iron arrowheads. :)
