1901 Commemorative pendant

Hello all, I went out detecting a couple of days ago and found this commemorative pendant, the hand made heart shaped thingy which appears to be made of brass, not quite sure, the lens piece of what I think was a telescopic instrument, an old lock and a decorative hinge. All were found on one small house site.

That is really cool, I love finding different things in the ground we walk on.
