18k with ice, and three more silver

If you found a 1965 silver quarter, it's worth some money, as it was stamped with the wrong blank. Silver stopped in 1964.

Forgot to mention that is one beautiful ring. Congrats.

90% Silver till 1964....... 65 till present Clad coins ........ different metals used.......

Yup my bad. Just checked the weight, not heavy enough to be a silver quarter. I miss read a web site quoting 1965 silver quarters. But what really thew me was the sound when I dug it up, did not sound like a quarter on my Excal which is why I even bothered to check the date! Oh well I will just have to settle for the gold

but have also gotten midtones on them, why, I don't know, maybe has something to do with the sand matrix......HH
