18K Ring With Mystery Stone

New member
Interesting night on the beach last night.
There was a small army of people watching the falling meteor
display while I was following the outgoing tide.
Found this "John Hardy Co." ring with an unknown stone.
Any ideas as what kind of stone it is would be appreciated.
The new owner (my wife) thinks it's either topaz or aquamarine.

Thank you ahead for any ideas!

Nice ring! My guess is Aquamarine, but could be Topaz, both can be dark too light blue in color.

Congratulations! Nice find, no idea on the stone.

Is it gold? Nice heavy ring. Can't guess on the stone. All you can do, take it to a jeweler.

Beautiful ring!! Not sure of the stone though. Swing by a jeweller and he'll tell you.

Since it is 18K I would guess Aquamarine. Only your friendly jeweler could be certain. Very Nice Find. Congratulations.

That's a Beautiful Ring!! Big Congrads!

Nice ring! I had a similar looking stone a while back and walked into a jewelry store to have the one I found identified as topaz. It was in a 14K white gold setting.
Cheers,
tvr
