18K Ladies Ring in Surf

Hello guys..

I haven't posted in a great while, but have been finding rings. About 2 weeks ago pulled this beauty out of rough surf knee deep water. When I looked in the scoop the sun was shining on the ring and she shown like a beauty. The ring is 18K with a double row of diamonds on either side of the main stone, with sapphires on either side of a cabochon center stone. I tested the metal to 18k but may be higher. European makings on the inside. One of my best finds to date. What a great sport! HH Marty

I will never melt the ring down. I just enjoy finding rings like everyone else. Every time I find something nice it humbles me a bit. I don't know, but I feel that God enjoys watching me find these little treasures and gets a good laugh! Just my thoughts.... Marty

Wow that is a nice ring, and your quote above is how I always feel. As excited as I am when I find jewelry I am just as humbled and when it comes to personal type items, wedding rings, or things that would have meaning, I can't help but feel just a little sad for the person who lost it. Some of my deepest conversations with God happen when I am out in the water detecting. Usually it is me begging for him to hold off that next wave long enough to retrieve the target, or those perfectly calm flat days, and totally out of no where a wave comes up and smacks the crap out of me, after being rolled a few times you come to the surface spurting, with a new perspective. It's like Okay Lord, you got my attention..you trying to tell me something or what!

You do think like me! Everytime I hit a ring or jewelry I really belive that has God led me to that just to show me He is concerned with all aspects of my life. I have been hunting in one line then would turn to go over to the right or left only to nail a nice ticket. That is humbling in itself. Marty
