18K Gold Buddha

Treasure Mike

New member
Found the 14/10K 2.2 gram kid's pin at a tot lot. It was laying on top of the wood chips. Rose gold hat, white gold shirt and yellow gold body. Tested as 14k on the body and 10k on the hat. Last night I went to a grade school that has a large wood chips play area. I checked under the slide and got a 0 "Foil" reading with a very strong signal. I reached under the slide and scooped off about an inch of wood chips and I saw the glint of gold. Soon as I picked it up I knew it was the real thing. Marked 750 on the pendant that holds a jade green "Buddha". Tested it at home and sure enough, tested as 18K. Weighs almost 12 grams. Gold chains are few and far between and I feel very lucky whenever I find one. Thanks for looking! Mike

Hey Mike, Really Great finds!! I have found a bunch of gold & silver rings while DT'ing over the years, but I never seem to pull those chains out of the ground. Good finds.

Wow Mike,

You just keep finding great stuff. In your case, a lot that glitters is gold. :clapping:

Good luck and have fun, Bob
