18k and Platinum on St Pattys Day

Well I ended my horrible 15 mo dry spell on rings, I went back to the spot where I found the diamond Bracelet 4 mo ago and began working the field, almost to the end and I hit a solid 60 with a 61 now and again and out popped my first Platinum and my first 18k it came in at 4.3 grams. I couldnt believe it thats my 3rd piece of gold in the last 2 weeks HH to all :detecting:

:thumbup:on those two rings.

I hear tell gold and platinum found on any day equals green - backs that is. Congratulations on a great find.

Very nice! Nothing like a few hunks of gold to put a spring in your step!

Curious about something: does titanium and Platinum
have markings inside like gold rings. I have NO idea how to
ID the Titanium or Platinum rings.

Robert yes platinum is marked usually say PT , PLT, PLAT then a number 950 , 900 etc the number represents the purity of the platinum, ex - pt 950 means 95% platinum and 5 % iradium or other material this ring has 3 stamps it says K 18 PT 950 then the markers mark Titanium I am not sure I think sometimes yes and sometimes no but don't quote me on that.
