18K and a 9mm Luger Round Today

Went wet sand hunting today and managed to pull out a nice 18k ladies wedding band on a cold windy day here on the northeast coast of Florida. Kicked that sand and that golden flash of gold! Found a 9mm Luger round in the wet sand. Don't know anything about ammo is that a recent round? Anyway, blessed again this week. Sovereign Rocks again. HH. Marty

Nice ring, always nice to find gold. The 9mm has been around for a long, long time, I've got two 9mm automatics, both Rugers as well as a few other guns. HH

The 9mm has been around since at least 1908 (iirc it was standardized in 1901-2) as that is the origional P-08 German Luger round.
