Hey Everyone:

So awesome checking out everyone's finds. I have an opportunity to hunt an 1898 house and this is what I have been able to find so far:

Some junk metal for scrap ... except I thought one piece was pretty special. Turns out it is crossed cannons from 32nd Field Artillery Regiment. See link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/32nd_Field_Artillery_Regiment_%28United_States%29.

I accidentally broke it but it's a very cool find!

I told myself I wouldn't leave until I found a silver ... she was the last one I found at 9 pm. ha ha - Got some old wheats...1913, 1919, and a 1920. I knew there had to be silver there somewhere. 1924 Merc. I love the Mercs. Oh .. and a game token too. Such a fun day!! Can't wait to go back.

Have a wonderful day everyone!! HH

Way to go. You're pulling those old Wheaties, so there'll likely be some more silver in there. Hopefully, you'll get some more. Congrats on the Merc!

Congrats on the finds !

Congratulations on a great hunt!! Your determination bagged you a nice Merc-gotta love that :clapping:
Please keep us posted on any other goodies from the 1898 house. Happy Hunting.

Congratulations on the finds Betty! That is a neat bit of history, thank you for posting the link! Looking forward to seeing what else might be there!

congratulations, nice looking loot! keep pounding that spot.

1898! Awesome. There's got to be more silver and some really neat relics. Good luck the next time out there.

Great job on the Merc & Wheats! I really like the crossed cannons! I hope you pull a lot more cool finds from that old house.

9pm...Did you do the "just one more signal" 50 more times like I end up doing trying to get that silver? :detecting:

Great finds and that is a really neat pin.
