Just went out to a spot that i never expected to find any old coins, In fact i was looking for Gold and digging foils and bobby pins and digging Iron kinda cool is with the tejon i knew when it was Iron or foil then about 4" deep out comes an indian head 1900 i was shock, ed put the pinpointed in and it was telling me MORE" so out comes another 1895 indian I am like why did no one find this its right in an obvious spot and only 4" deep was not masked or anything i was using the 5.75 coil and got a nice chirp, and even on disc 2 seems to find things other missed

Very cool, Indians are one of my favorites, you done good. Nice green color to them, they will turn out nice with some light cleaning.

Good job on the Indiians! I like my 5.75 coil but only use it hunting around swing set legs and other tot lot play structures and when I'm in heavy trash, just don't have the patience to use it any other time.

How I feel when old coins are found .

I actually took this photo today and it cracked me up .

Gunnar, nice finds on the Injuns! Way to Go!

Good score Gunnar! The Tejon redeems itself and presents two IH beauties! I am very happy for you Gunnar. Even the longest "dry spells" have to come to an end. :clapping: Your soil sure is much gentler on IH cents then mine. I hope you can get back and give the property a good sweepin' - Jimmy

I want to get the MIRAGE P,I ON THE SITE its ability to see thru badd ground a small Iron may just net me some more coins others missed i know a staple at 2" deep will knock out a quarter at 4" deep if using a VLF but the mirage will not miss such a situation and it will see thru foil and hit a coin under the foil way down in the grand. , but the Tejon will hit the chains and eating studs. well, I found a small thing today with the Tejon it was about the size of a BB but was brass and it hit it along with some other small things. so between the two i should do well in this spot .

Nice finds! dont clean them! leave them as is! they will show pitting cleaned. nothing wrong with the patina and will show detail better. i made the mistake of cleaning coins that dont have much of a value in coin book, and just messed them up. leave the green and blue patina on them! wont hurt, NOW GET OUT THERE AND FIND THE REST OF THEM! times a wasting... you got the machines and a spot,, happy hunting!
