. . . but unfortunately no Silver today! :ranting: A VARIETY OF FINDS FOR SURE ! Found a bit of clad and a 1955 Jefferson ... 2 Mardi Gras dablooms (1978 & 1990) both registered as 50cent pieces so I kinda got excited for a moment ... ... also an old toy metal military jeep  ... 1975 rabies dog tag from Saint Landry Parish (County for you guys) . . . one very old Junior Deputy Sheriff's badge from Saint Landry Parish (County).

Just got a :whites: Coinmaster Pro for my two boys (ages 5 & 6) to share as they came along with me. They actually located a couple of clad coins too after a wee bit of instruction. :clapping: Thanks for looking. CCH

Interesting variety of finds in that location. Congrats !!

Neat finds...
I'll bet it a blast to hunt with the kids.... dig dig dig

NICE, keep hunting that spot, now you've got some of the more modern targets out of the way you may hit something closer to the age of the 1895 house!!

Nice finds EJ...Is that jeep a tootsie-toy ? Looks like one to me. Great to hear you got your little ones involved...

Great post CCH! That little jeep sure looks to be a Tootsie Toy. Have you checked the bottom? Also the best thing about your post is that you got your boys out with you. That's priceless for sure. Glad they have the interest. I would love to be there when they find their first old coin. Too cool. HH, Nancy
