Hi I`m new,I have a Garrett Ace250 I bought a few months ago.I have found alot of stuff with it,today I found an 1892 Barber dime,I scratched it up some with my digger.I found the dime at an old reservoir I`ve been hunting for the last 3 years, finds are getting less frequent but still pretty old stuff.[attachment 9824 1892dimefront.jpg][attachment 9825 1892dimeback.jpg]

nice find, fun when you get old silver. might want to get a probe they are a must if you are serious about coin hunting. I got the x1 for my explorer and it really works great. Get some more silver. Harry

That's a heart breaker, but the thrill of finding a 203 year old silver whatever, is worth the tiny hurt when it comes to those ugly scratches, I agree with Harry on the pointer, it has to be worth it's weight in silver (or gold) in saving face value on coins, GREAT FIND....
