1892 church/cemetary

place ive hunted last month or so, 5-6 diff times. hunted with my explorer 2. only know pre set programs. the dirt is very brown for va soil. got permission to an older church/cemetary. not sure if the church is as old as the cemetary but its definatly early
1900's. the church built a new building 15-20 years ago so they didnt care if we hit it. i do the hvac for
the church so we got full permission, my co worker and i. he recently got an at pro, his
first detector. they blacktopped a very large circle around the church so i know alot of targets are lost
under that. but ive put in prolly 10-15 hrs and have covered a majority of
the huntable area. my dad put in prolly 2 hours.

ive pulled clad, 2 mercs, an indian, a silver cuff link it looks like. few other random items, nothing gold or silver

my dad pulled clad and a real old 925 ring

my co worker hasnt hit it with his at pro yet. i gave him one of my mercs
because he was with me.

the indian was barely 4 inches. hit hard as ever. all the good stuff has hit
very hard and clear at 3-5 inch. numbers have jumped all over on all of them.
mercs hit like memorials.

ive got the place to where it will barely go off in areas. i recently sold my explorer and have an
v3i on the way. im excited to see what it will pull vs the explorer in pre set. then once i learn to tweek it.
my regret is i didnt take time to learn explorer 2 potential.

debated hitting the walk ways in the cemetary where there are no tombstones. they are 4-5 feet wide. i know there are some good things. but i dont want to
piss anyone off.

Not sure how I missed what you wrote. My bad.
Jon, is right the Explorer is a deep coin machine.
Yes, the Explorer has a lil bit of a learning curve but, once you grasp it, it will pay off.
I am sure the Whites V3 also has a similar curve. Whites also makes nice machines so, good luck and happy hunting.

Nice finds. Oh to have unfrozen ground!!! My area is still pretty hard but is going to be warmer for the next couple of days . Wow!! Long winter!! HH!!
