Another nice IH!! You found yourself a hotspot!!!

if a seated coin shows up i will be a happy person, i just did some testing with the ORX, and what i will run next outing is 3.7khz and 1 sweep speed, disc at 7 and 86 gain, in coin deep using the 9" coil, or as those in the south say coal. this is a very extreem setting but i tested it and it hits a dime 10" good signal air test . ground is mildexept for iron bits that may linger from old cans and iron . but anyway i will give it a try. and see what happens i was using 10.5 khz and 2 sweep speed

Those are some nice, old shotshell heads also. Were these found with the ORX? Do you still have your Tarsacci?

I clean it by soaking it in Olive oil and then just with soap and a toooth brush . and a green scub pad. i dont like to take all the corrosion off, just so it reads nice, and JCR i found alll with the ORX and yes i still have the Tarsacci, wich can aire test a dime at 13" but when it comes to swinging it in the woods, & sticks i have grabbed the ORX, but i may get the Tarsacci in for the deep stuff, but it is a 3 pounder and i get worn out fast

Hopefully the new smaller coil for the MDT will be out before too long.

Just got home from camping and off the grid….
Looks like the two shotshell heads are oldies! USC 10 ga STAR was manufactured 1864-1926.
Peters 12ga REFEREE (with chain link around the primer) was made 1896-1911!!! Love the IH!!!
