No, I did not find one, but I was able to test with one. On both my F70 and F75 it read as a 53.
I have never had a reading of 53, but if I do now, I will sure dig it.

Happy Holidays

Well, you did get my attention and I am glad for the info. One of my 10k class ring finds read a 55. It was a pretty hefty men's. HH jim tn

All I do is relic hunt so I dig about everything and Thanks to jim tn I have dug a lot of deep bullets with the F75. I have dug one deep large cent 1849. We cannot find any gold coins here in Alabama, because them old Civil War soldiers spend all their money up in Tennessee on Moonshine and was broke by the time they got down here in Alabama.:buds:

no wonder the "rebs" lost the war!..(lol!)

Hey Guys

My buddy and I have dug 3 gold dollars this month in some hunted out cw camps. These were 1861-62 and we have dug 1 1861 and 2 62's this month. DO NOT PAY ATTENTION TO THE ID.....In an air test or on the ground they read most times at around 24.. In the real hunting woods or fields they can read high iron up to 48 -50...WHY because it may be laying near Iron or some other target and the 75 most of the time will up average the target.. Here where we hunt we are in---JE mode, 99 sen, O disc.and the ground balance in our spots are around 54-63..and use 4 tones....The dollar I got sunday was in a trash pit lots lots of IRON. sound like a gun going off with all the low tones but there was one other tone of the three that hit, that was the gold coin..We dig all signals if it is IRON only if it gives you one other tone either one way or another..YOU will be surprize what you have been missing...We have dug buttons and bullets under neath IRON...The gold coin was on top of the trash pit above the IRON but I still heard it...IF it were under all that iron most likely wouldn't have heard it...IF anyone has any questions please let me know...The F-75 is just very hard to beat in my area and type of hunting...If you are wondering my buddy dug the 61 one week and dug the second one the nest week...We now have 2 gold dollars each and hoping to make the other hunt harder with a third one to one of us. WE are going to dig the trash pit this week some time....

I agree do not take the VDI reading as gospel if you get a reading of 50 it MAY be one of these :-
