Ihave been investigating this site for some time , but was unable to find the owner , but i finaly got permission . It is an 1879 homstead and was torn down in 1955 and was turned into a farm feild nothing remains but the hidden foundation that the plow loses some Iron on every time he hits it It is full of nails shotgun shells and bullet slugs and today i found my 1st coin a 1909 now it was in the grand a long time. also found a broken ax . as wood cutting was a regular part of farm labor . I am using the compadre to clean up the 1st 5" then i will bring out the muske hopfully we can find the out houses and find some old bottles , I really like farm feilds wil keep you posted

Hi Gunmar; I hope the "VDB" initials are on the bak under the Wheat Stalks.Makes it more valuable and desirable.Just soak it in water for a few days and the "lightly" scrub it ever so gently with the softest toothbrush you can find and slowly you will see all the details without damaging the coins patina ok. Best wishes. PEACE:RONB

Bad news on the 1909 after cleaning i cant read anything ,, the fertilizers did thear work well but good news is i found a silver plated kife and it was in good shape , so if any silver coins come out they should be in good condition
