I got out for about 3 hours Sunday and had a bit of luck. Here's the front of the 1877cc seated dime, she was deeeeep! I was using the Explorer SE with a Explorer II coil (bobbing eyebrows).
Here's the reverse, it was packed with dirt so I had to wait until I got home to see if it was a cc and it was!!! CC's are my favorite mint marks because they are hard to find on the east coast and they are the only two letter mint marks, plus I just like them!
Here are some other finds. I think that's a nearly featureless two cent piece, I tried all kinds of mojo but it was a lost cause. That's the good side by the way. Also found a couple old jewelry thing-a-ma-bobs, one heavily corroded 1887 IH, and a couple wheats which I have gained a new respect for after finding the 1909s.
