1877 trade dollar found wile looking for somones lost earing

Joe perry, of the Gopher state treasure hunters up hear in minnesota, was asked to find a womans earing and wile looking for that he was suprized to find a 1877 trade dollar, joe is a scuba diver and avid detectorist and usesa E track and Excaliber I have posted a picture for joe he cant download them at this time it is a pickture of a picture sorry for the quality
 
Well thats obviously not an earing & he should have thrown it back!


Seriously tho...What an eye popper minding blower...I'd love to find one of those.

Any more details?. Was this in the water etc...

Don't mean to bust his bubble, but there are numerous fakes in circulation. Hope he gets it authenticated ..
 
Nice find. What a surprise he must of had when he un-earthed that bad boy. Was it at an old home site / private residence? Thanks for posting. - Jim

I dont know exactly whear joe found it , ?? he would not tell me the spot , but i dont blame him
