well I can't dig because it is so blessed dry in my area, so been doing lots of art..........check out this 1877 indian I did tonight
 
Very nice!! I like the cross hatching shading you did. What kind of medium is that in. Free hand Ink, Lithograph etc. ?
I was into art in my college days but never seemed to find the time to draw much in the last 25 years :)

it is drawn on black paper, with a white gelly roll marker
 
I understand the heat thing. Out here, we have a dry heat. It hot and the ground is dry.

Glad you found a way to pass some time. I am waiting for monsoon season to start here out West so the ground moistens up a bit.
