I wasn't able to hunt my beach tonight because the wind was still gale force and the surge was still a problem. 'Rough as bricks' is what Max would say!
Had to fall back on an old swimming hole in Mangrove Bay across from the old British Army Barracks.
I found a kewl 1870 british half penny in very good condition and my first silver coin in a long time, a 1956 US Quarter.
While I was hunting the parks dept. was taking down a tree beside the beach that had caught fire during the storm, maybe a lightning strike.
I will hunt my beach tomorrow after work and hopefully find that gold I've been missing for the last month.

Big old pine tree on fire, the parks department took it down later

100 lbs. of loyal protection for my wife and a great all around dog. She's our second Bouvier de Flandres, my wife named her Brianna because it is a Gaellic word for 'a great disturbance'.

Good Eye Mate,

I bought him off a breeder who was going to put him down. The breeder had mishandled the dog and decided to kill him instead of retrain him. He was a handful for a while but he came around after much training and love. The best darn dog I ever had, I sure do miss him.

Cheers,
