1870 Large Cent

Larry (IL)

Well-known member
too bad it was not a US 1870 cent, but it was British, I'll take it. Also found a 1954, 2 Groschen, Austria coin a foot way from the LC. Those and a couple of wheats was the extent of the older coins, the rest were clad. The most unusual was a flattened locomotive which is too brittle to bend back. Not too much to brag about but it was really nice to get out for a couple of hours.

Congrats on your finds Larry. Once again the only thing I found was clad.

Oh, oh, oh, I love Indian cents. Way to go Andrew!

Congrats on your flattened locomotive Larry.
