I'm new to Fisher and am very happy with my F75, which I have used for about 10 hours of hunting. Folks on this forum were very helpful with my battery compartment questions. Here's a couple of finds I made yesterday at an old dump site that I have been hunting since March. The first is an old naval button, which a couple of websites date to the 1864-1866 period (http://pw1.netcom.com/~jimyce/bm.html). I've posted this on the T-net button forum. The other item is a tiny little sterling harp pin, which rang up in the mid to high 60s range and was 6 inches deep. The F75 pinpoints very well and I love the recovery speed. For now, I'm going in all-metal mode, which makes the coil "very hot", meaning I hear things off to the periphery that I might otherwise miss in discrimination mode. Happy hunting everyone. - Jim
