(I posted more in the Garretts Board)

Coin is in pretty decent condition, have it soaking in water to try to release the last bit of dirt without removing any of the green patina.

This is the 1st 2-cent'er I've ever found....so I'm a happy camper :cheers:

If you haven't done so already, you may want to see if it's a small or large motto. If it's a small, and depending on condition......you may have a valuable coin there. Been trying to determine which mine is, and I believe I've determined it's the large motto.

EL, the difference the Blue Book shows in their pictures is pretty noticeable, but when looking at a somewhat worn coin while comparing it to the photos isn't. If I had to venture a guess after several minutes of comparing the 2, I'd have to sat it's a small.
