Went out to this older part of town where they are doing construction. They are pulling up all of the sidewalks and i dove right in. I pulled out a 61 Rosie, 6 Wheaties, and a 1863 something. I looked it up and couldnt find nothing but its old and I'll take it. What I think it says is isabel 2d porlac. It is also holed so it may be missing some key letter idk.

I wish a certain Texas hunter would see your posts. You sure are proving that the V3i can work in Texas. Just shows what a little effort and studying can do. Keep up the good work. ROB

Ahhh, that feeling one gets when a sidewalk is being torn up and out! Good job, that is a pretty nice find. Seems worthy enough that a long time ago someone put a hole in it for safe keeping. What kind of basic settings were you using and did you use Ground Probe to aid?

Rob - Texas Hunter? Why would a multi frequency detector have trouble in Texas???

They are redoing a stretch of about 1 1/2 mile long. There will be more finds to come! @ I don't have any problems here in Tx, but Tx is very big not all of the soil is the same.
