I posted this over at minelab forum to show everyone the old coin and they more it over here WHAT UP WITH THAT DO THEY NOT LIKE WHITES USER.

Nice find!

I guess you must have found this coin with a White's detector and that is why they move it over there. For most of us we just enjoy seeing what people find and really don't care what forum it is posted. If you don't say what detector you used, I am not shy, I will just ask  HH and looking foreward to your future posts.

I use the Whites DFX with the d2 coil. All the guys I detect with they use minelabs and we all find old coins it is who puts there coil on it first.:whites::minelab::clapping:

thats a great find, i hope to find something seated one day, congratulations

I don't know.....was probably just the right thing to do. (Keeps the boards clean and helps eliminate the comparisons and "flaming" from those who are prone to that kind of thing.)

Thanks everyone for checking out the quarter:twodetecting: It is my first seated quarter can take that off my wish to find coin. On the wish to find next is the seated half or a GOLD coin one of the to.:whites:

Thinks we are all out there to find old coin.:twodetecting: or what ever we are hunting for . We all no if you did not put your coil on the target:twodetecting: you are not going to be the one who get it .:beers: So a detector is a detector :whites::minelab::garrett:it is what you put into the hobby.:starwars:

I really like how you set that coin! How did you do that? Can you buy blank holders for coins or is that made by you?

You can get the mount at a jewelry or coin store had it cleaned and mounted at a coin store call Silver Towne.:beers:

Some Minelab users are elitists.........but I think its their personality bent........wouldn't matter what detector they were using. I hunt with Minelab guys.......they are happy when good finds are made.....no matter what the machine used. Congrats on the awesome find.

It dose not matter what detector we are using :whites::minelab::garrett:.The guys I hunt with use Minelab I am the only one using Whites . I am the one that day how put his coil on that quarter. It was a matter of time before someone find it I happen to be the one. It would of been a good find for all detector.:twodetecting::beers:
