I mostly hunt water and beaches but got a chance to hunt some private land where I work...it dates to 1836 and earlier. I hunted around some very old chestnut trees... not many targets...few newer coins close to surface. Then got a short quick tone..dug at about 3 inches got this half dime my nicest so far!!
