1854 Seated Liberty Quarter found in Backyard with F75

Well guys I dug this beauty in my own backyard. My house sits atop of our towns old fairgrounds. She was about 8 inches down. I found it in JE mode. NOW...What would you guys do? I bet there are more where this one came from ...

Wow, my head would be spinning :) I'd find out the boundaries of the old fairgrounds, then ask permission to hunt all the properties within those boundaries. If your property doesn't yield much, it doesn't mean other properties adjacent to yours will not... the sink rate will vary from place to place, so there may be a sweet spot of coins just waiting for you to discover.

Also, if it were my property, I would grid it and do a survey in all metal.... I would track density of signals in each grid, plus use the fe graph.. you might be surprised at the "picture" that may form on your grid paper.

good hunting, and I hope you update the forum!
