A Few of the Edmonton Boys & I met up last night for a little hunt. We started out at an old park in the city that has produced a few rings for Nova & a couple of older coppers. I got a great repeatable hit & dug my target about 5 inches down. Thought it was a large cent at first but after getting it home & cleaning it up a bit i started to notice 1852 on the one side. Cleaned it a little more & stated to make out a few words, then a few more. lots of light & a magnifier lens i could make out a few more words & then with the help of google started to see the faint images of this 1852 Bank of Upper Canada Half Penny Token that's right 1852 Bank of Upper Canada Half Penny Token

I am going to try & clean it up some more & post some picture's
