1851 Silver Three Cent (Trime)

Another good day, well yesterday was. It has been a great year so far. I went back to the old house that I got the 1839O Seated Liberty dime in March but this time the house had been bulldozed down. I had the large coil on the F75LTD and I got two 1945D Wheaties at about 5 inch's down. I hit the Three cent at only 2 inch's down and at first I thought it was a button because it had so much crust on it. I rubbed just enough to see the large C and the roman III's, and I was in total shock. I love this hobby:wiggle: Happy Hunting and thanks for looking

Nice. I got a seated 1853 dime a few years back with my cz5. In the middle of a field. Came out of the ground and looked like it was just minted. Love that silver. Wtg.

Wow Keith, that 3 center is in beautiful shape.

Very cool find. I found one of these a few years back but it doesnt have near as much detail as yours. How did it ID?
