I have been super busy the last many weeks doing some different field testing as well as beyond swamped with personal training at work (gym).
I was able to squeeze in a few short hunts here and there and a special one with my dad.

We didn't find anything at all other than clad...but it was still very special and I cherish each hunt with him.
After he felt how light the Ultimate 13" coil was he didn't want to give it back.
A couple of days later I hunted an old school and found a few silver and also some wheaties...but I know you've all seen plenty of them on the forum so I don't need to show mine.
I would like to show this old compact though as I thought it was pretty cool.

AND...this lovely old pocket watch ...or what's left of it.

I was also able to get out to another site in the woods which was in close proximity to the site I was tipped off to a few weeks back.
That hunt produced a gold ring for me but I was told this site was quite a few years older and had a lot of activity over the years.
I loaded up the 4-wheeler with Herky and my detector...as well as 3 different coils...and off I went.
I finally located the spot and was surprised to see a decent patch of grass to hunt.

I felt like I stepped back in time when I saw the dilapidated old wagon with all 4 wheels sunken halfway into the ground.

This turned out to be a great spot as I found all 1800's coins including the tiny 1848 halfdime.

I usually like to be more detailed but again am just swamped with work.
For those of you who have messaged me about comparisons between the 10 x 12 SEF and the Ultimate 13"....I will try to get a short post up as soon as I can.
