I think i can officially say i love my MXT. I went to the old seminary by the river built in the 1850's that i'd found other old coins at. I was there maybe 15 minutes when i got a nice solid 25 cent hit. I dug a plug and stuck my pinpointer down in the hole and my Vibraprobe sounded off. I saw a nice glint of silver but didnt think it was anything that nice.........man was i wrong

Is this the same coin: http://www.coinfacts.com/half_dollars/seated_liberty_half_dollars/1842_half_dollar_sdsl.htm

That coin sure looks like it didn't even get to be used at all. One of the nicest dug seated I have seen.
